I got to watch some of our up and coming juniors play on the weekend at West Dubbo BC.
Great stuff. very impressive list of talent on display.
The group that impressed me the most was a young family of four, most of them knee high to grass hoppers, getting a belting in some of their games, but smiling and competing. Absolute champions, the four of them. if more people enjoyed their games like these kids, the bowls world would be a happier place to be.
Congratulations.

What was the event, M? Part of their Academy stuff?

Sorry to say Gav that i dont actually know the name of the event. I was there to help Zone 4 come up with a plan to re-energise their junior development. But the only plane i could get, got me there at 8.30 for a 1.30 planned meeting so i got to watch some great young bowlers strutting their stuff.

Noal Sloane, and your protege was out here, but nobody knows how & with who she got here, played with Mat McIntyre and won the w/e.

I thought it was the young star from Raymond Terrace playing with mac. Or have I given your coaching duties to someone else mate.
