You'd have to say our chances of getting the 2018 world cup are almost zero seeing as 2010 (Sth Africa) and 2014 (Brazil) will be the first time ever that consecutive cups have been held in the southern hemisphere.

So what chance for 2022???

What's the record for consecutive World Cups being held in the Northern Hemisphere? 3 or more?

7 in a row in the Northern Hemisphere! Why the hell couldn't you have 3 or even 4 in the Southern Hemisphere? It's not like that record was set decades ago.

it needs to go back to Europe before anything else - so 2018 i think is unlikely. i like our chances for the 2022 Cup. and the final at the G would be fu*king awesome!

That's the way the scheduling has happened so far when you look at that list!

Ever since 1958 - Europe then somewhere else - repeat ad nauseam. Bloody Europeans. But hell yeah, I'd settle for 2022!

French Delicacy. Consisting of force fed goose untill the liver becomes over sized & fat due to overfeeding of the goose. The liver becomes 10 times larger than normal & is then harvested. The end result is a soft butterry textured liver with equisite flavour. Usaully retails for around $320.00 per kilo.

After the disaster that will be South Africa off the field (accomodation and the rest) England is a sure bet for 2018. Our chances depend on if we can get through to the knockout phase again I think.

The USA & Spain-Portugal bids will be the biggest danger.

personally i don't see the US as a threat. Spain-Portugal yes, but again England will be hosting the 18 games so off Europe you'd think it'll go. And Portugal have bigger problems ATM, like trying to qualify for next year....
