      Another Tennis Grand Final Win!
MCC Kew has another premiership pennant to unfurl and toast,
      with the Tuesday
MEMRLTA women's tennis team winning the A2 flag in a cracking debut season at the club.
Madeleine Davies, Sue Lester, Sally Potter, Lisa Powell and Suzi Rainone joined MCC Kew from OLGC, at Genazzano College. It proved a winning move, with the team losing just one match over the entire winter season (March to August), and that by one game! They won the re-match against Glen Waverley, during which an opposition player broke her wrist (yes, it's that competitive), before pipping City of Camberwell by five games in the semi final and old rivals Glenvale by 11 in the final.
The team is now mixing it with the best in section A1. They would like to thank the club for its great facilities (opposition teams are mighty impressed) and their 'secret weapon', coach Bill Madafferi ('Make it, make it!').
