It was a good day, and the old boy got a little choked up when he saw how many of us were there to see him.

He's a bit more frail these days and confined to a wheelchair, but the mind is still sharp as a tack. He got permission from the hospital to have a couple of hours out. Even the Deputy Mayor of Stirling Council was there to give him a plaque to commemorate his achievement. There was a good crowd - the bar area was chockas.
